I, Dr. Sumit Das Lala, is presently working as an Assistant professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. I have completed my PhD from National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2019 in the area of Material science. I graduated from Government Engineering College Agartala, Tripura in the department of Mechanical Engineering in the year 2013 and completed my PG from National Institute of Technology Agartala in Manufacturing Technology in the year 2015. My research interest includes Material synthesis and characterization, Nanocomposites, Conventional and non-conventional Manufacturing processes, Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. I have 4 granted patents in the field of bio-composites and biomaterials. I have also published 10 papers in SCI indexed journals and Scopus indexed journals and 3 book chapters.
